Rent's Due - 11x14

For the upcoming 100 Women Artists Art Show, I was assigned Elizabeth Catlett, a brilliant African-American sculptor. We were asked to take one of their pieces and put our own spin on it. I chose her "Sharecropper" wood block image to recreate.
I titled it "Rent's Due" because sharecroppers were tenant farmers that gave some of what they produced as part of their rent.
