As a Graphic Designer, I enjoy images and text found in our environment – especially buried away in magazines.
Oil paints were used to create the spiders and acrylic to round out the environment and bring together the collage elements. In the web, you'll find a small, 1:100 man, basking in his speedo.
Is the scene threatening? Is one spider a friend and the other a foe? Are both spiders friends or are they both predators? I've given it the title "Deception," but it's up to the viewer to determine the meaning of the painting.
